Laura’s romantic Scarritt-Bennett bridal portrait session in Nashville took place on a beautiful spring afternoon, and Laura wanted to capture some photos in the gorgeous Wightman Chapel (where she had her ceremony) and outdoors near the stone archways. They’re both stunning spots for romantic bridal portraits – I always feel like I’m in a castle when I photograph here!
Laura had the most romantic, flowy wedding dress, which was perfect for lots of movement shots, which are my favorite! Laura’s mom came from Arkansas to help Laura with the shoot, which was a great way for them to spend a girls’ afternoon together.
I’m posting these photos AFTER the wedding, because we couldn’t let her fiance John Robert (now her husband!) see the pictures beforehand. So I can tell you that Laura decided to wear her hair up for these bridal portraits, and she wore her hair down for the weddings – so she has two different looks for her photos!
Here are just a few of the many photos from Laura’s bridal portrait session, which is one of my all-time favorites!
