This family photo session was exactly the kind that I love – fun, relaxed, active, warm, genuine and joyful.

Lana and Franklin Pargh wanted to capture the spirit of their 2-year-old son and their family as a whole, and they were up for anything! We planned their photo session to catch the late afternoon sunlight, and they brought Benjamin’s favorite Superman costume. I brought a bubble machine, a red wagon and popsicles (’cause it was HOT outside).

Lana and Franklin just did what they do all the time – played with Benjamin, talked and laughed with each other, and played some more – which was perfect. Benjamin’s grandparents came by for some shots at the beginning, and you can tell they adore this little boy.

These photos will forever remind the Pargh family of this sweet time in their lives when Benjamin was all about Superman – and when he was still little enough to toss into the air. They ordered an album of their photos, and I can’t wait to share images of their beautiful book.
