Madeline and Andrew’s Nashville engagement session started at the stone steps at Percy Warner Park, followed by a sunny walk through some wildflowers at a nearby state park when they were visiting last week from Wisconsin. They’ll be flying back to Nashville in February to get married at The Cordelle, and I’m excited to be photographing their wedding day!
Madeline and Andrew first met through Madeline’s cousin Trent, who thought these two would get along really well, even though Andrew lived in across the country in Wisconsin.
And he was right!
When Andrew flew to Nashville to visit Trent one weekend, Madeline and Andrew instantly connected and ended up dancing for hours on Broadway. Madeline had to go out of town the next morning, and as Andrew flew home, he couldn’t stop thinking about her. He texted her the next afternoon, and for two months straight they texted back and forth until he drove to Nashville for her birthday in April.
That was their first official date, and after a romantic dinner, they ended up dancing on Broadway again – and they’ve been a couple ever since!
Now these two are getting married in February, which will be exactly two years after that first meeting.
There was a lot of laughter and romance at their engagement session, and I am so thrilled to be photographing this couple’s wedding, with event planning by the amazing As We Gather Events !
A little side note: Andrew is a super talented wedding videographer in Wisconsin, and he’s used to being on the other side of the camera. 🙂 You can check out his work at Aerodef Productions.
Here are some highlights from their engagement session at Percy Warner Park and a nearby state park! I hope you can see in the photos how much they adore each other.
Happy viewing!
