When Jessi and Alessio of Wildflowers LLC approached me about doing a florist branding shoot for their business, I jumped at the chance to work with this talented entrepreneur couple!
They had a vision in mind for cohesive light and airy photos of their lush floral designs for their website, email newsletter and social media. Along with showcasing their gorgeous floral designs, they also wanted some behind-the-scenes photos of the two of them creating the bouquets and installations, styling tables, and working together as they do every day. They came prepared with many different flowers and setups, a mood board, and wardrobe changes, including a gorgeous wedding dress courtesy of Fabulous Frocks of Nashville. (Special thanks to Amy at Fabulous Frocks for allowing us to use one of the stunning gowns from her Franklin shop!) We did some photos inside my Lenox Village studio and a few outdoors as well to give them different options and a variety of looks.
It’s so important in business today to not only show a product, but also to tell the unique story of the people behind the business – and Jessi and Alessio are the real deal. You can’t help but fall in love with them and their work!
The couple behind the flowers
Jessi and Alessio met in New Orleans, and they soon fell head over heels for each other! Jessi is a Nashville native from a family of florists and has worked in the business for years, and Alessio – who’s from Venice, Italy – soon learned the business and found it was a perfect fit. They chose the name Wildflowers because when they first started dating, Alessio would search all over for the sweetest and most unique wildflower to give to Jessi. It became their tradition, and now it’s the name of their company. 🙂
When they’re not meeting with clients or creating floral designs for weddings, Jessi and Alessio love to spend time cooking authentic Italian food together. I hope you can see in their photos what a genuine, caring, happy and talented couple they are, with attention to detail and impeccable taste in color and design. I mean, seriously – these flowers are amazing! And they are the cutest.
I first met this couple when we worked together on Kenna and Nick’s wedding at Scarritt Bennett Center, and I just felt an instant connection with them and their work. I was so thrilled to work with them again on this branding content shoot, and it was so. much. fun to photograph!
