Chelsea and Stephen’s downtown Nashville pedestrian bridge engagement session was full of romance and laughter, and they brought along their Goldendoodle, Paisley, for some shots! 🙂
These two were just friends for a year before they started dating and realized they wanted to spend their lives together. They’re both in the health care field – Chelsea is a nurse and Stephen is in medical school studying to be a surgeon – and one of their first dates together was Chelsea’s last day of nursing school. Stephen planned a special surprise: “Stephen drove up to Love Circle and went back to his trunk,” Chelsea said. “He brought out champagne flutes and champagne, along with a movie pre-loaded on his iPad. It was super romantic and so unexpected!”
We went to downtown Nashville for their urban engagement session, and they brought along their goldendoodle, Paisley. (Dogs are always welcome at my engagement sessions! They always add so much fun and laughter, and they’re part of the family after all. 🙂 )
While the day turned out to be overcast, we had about a minute of magical golden sun rays at the end of the evening on our way back to the car.
One more thing: Chelsea brought me a bouquet of flowers for rescheduling their engagement session due to weather (it rained like crazy the weekend before). It was absolutely not expected or necessary, but it was just another affirmation that my couples are the most thoughtful, sweet, genuine people, and I’m grateful to be capturing their love stories!
Check out some highlights from their engagement session below. I can’t wait for their spring wedding at the Clementine Nashville!
