Courtney and James’ Nashville winter maternity photo session was a joy to photograph, and I’m so excited for this couple who are expecting a baby boy in March! They wanted to celebrate this milestone in their lives with maternity photos so they can always remember this fleeting time.

Last Saturday afternoon in January (my first session of the new year!) was sunny and cold, with temperatures around 25 degrees, and it felt even colder! But we had SUN and warm golden light for their session, which makes all the difference. Winter afternoons are so beautiful with their soft monochromatic tones, and I’m glad these two were able to power through the session despite the cold!
