Nashville Wedding Planner Courtney Sanders Offers A La Carte Plans

November 22, 2014

Courtney Sanders Nashville wedding plannerThis article is part of an ongoing series of vendor profile blog posts, designed to give brides some ideas for their upcoming weddings. Happy planning!

When Courtney Sanders was planning her own wedding a few years ago in Memphis, she needed someone to help with the odds and ends of the party – someone she trusted who could handle the details just for her wedding weekend.

Finding that person proved more difficult than she expected.

“We didn’t need someone for the whole planning process,” Courtney says. “We just needed someone to help at the end, someone to take care of  the details. But there were not a lot of reasonably priced, weekend-of kind of wedding planners.”

To fill that need, Courtney started offering “a la carte” wedding planning services to fit most any budget. A bride can tell Courtney how much help she needs, and Courtney will create a package to fit. If a bride just needs help on the day of her wedding, Courtney can do that. But Courtney can also help with the planning process from beginning to end if needed.

“The best way I can describe the way I do things is a la carte,” she says. “I want brides to be able to pick and choose their services. If you need the whole guidance from beginning to end, I’m a very detail-oriented person who would be happy to help with the whole process. But I also customize plans so the bride and mother of the bride can just choose the amount of help that they need.”

Courtney has been a wedding planner for several weddings in Memphis, and she is looking to establish herself in the Nashville market.

Laura Alvarez of Memphis hired Courtney as her wedding planner for her traditional church wedding followed by a country club reception with a fun six-piece band that had everyone dancing.

“We had a great experience with Courtney,” Laura says. “She was with us the entire wedding day through the reception. She helped with many important details of the day – from food trays for the wedding party to delivering bags to the hotel and flowers from the church to the reception. It would not have been as stress-free and as organized without her. I highly recommend Courtney for the job of wedding planner – you will love her!”

In addition to being a bride and a wedding planner, Courtney has been a bridesmaid in many weddings – all experiences that have helped her understand how to keep the wedding day running smoothly.

“I want every bride to have the stress and anxiety lifted off their shoulders, to have a wonderful memory of her wedding day,” Courtney says.
