The light drizzle and gray skies threatened to postpone Jennifer and Brad’s engagement photography session in downtown Franklin last weekend, but I’m so glad they didn’t mind a little rain – and we just decided to go with it. Franklin was bustling and festive on a Saturday afternoon, and I love the urban feel it lends to this couple’s photos. Their first date was at a Starbucks, so it seemed only fitting for us to meet at Starbucks and go from there. I think you can see from the photos just how in love these guys are! They’re also goofy and ready to play, which made for some fun photos and a happy afternoon.

We had planned to incorporate Jennifer’s son, Turner, into our session, but the rain (which finally did start coming down heavily) cut our session short. We’ll be doing a Part II later, with Turner playing a big part in the photos.
