If you’re reading this post, you’re probably expecting a baby, and you’re about to start on the greatest adventure of your life!

Those first two weeks when your baby is brand new, tiny and squishy is such a precious and fleeting time, and photographs of you as a new family of three is a gift you will only treasure more with time.

I know about this from experience. I’m a mom of two boys, ages 11 and 14, and it seems like yesterday that they were tiny babies! People will tell you that this time goes by fast, but trust me when I say the days are long but the years are short.

My newborn photography sessions take place in your home OR in my Lenox Village studio, but most often it’s in people’s homes. The sessions take up to four hours to allow time for feeding, soothing and changing the baby. Nothing is ever rushed, and your comfort is top priority.

The session needs to take place within the first 10 days of birth, when your baby is still in that newborn, sleepy stage and is more easily photographed. (After that time babies start to be more alert and wakeful.)

My style is to focus on natural interactions rather than super posed pictures. You’ll have lots of photos of you holding your baby, because that’s where he naturally feels most safe and comfortable. I’ll also photograph your baby’s nursery, so you’ll always have the memories of this sweet space you’ve created for your little one.

I retouch your images so you don’t have to worry about baby acne or other skin issues. You also receive all the best, high-resolution images from your session, an online gallery to share with family and friends, and prints from your session so you can put them in frames right away.
