The Coleman family will be moving away from Nashville soon, but they love this city and the many friends and memories they’ve made here during the past few years. As a way to remember their family as it is right now, in a city that has become home, they commissioned me to take photos of them at some iconic places around town.
Documenting a family enjoying time together at three quintessential Nashville locations?? I’m your girl!!
The locations they chose were the renovated factory buildings at Marathon Village, the columns and city backdrop at Bicentennial Park, and the stone steps at Percy Warner Park.
Photographing a family of five – with children ages 1, 3, and 5 – on a humid summer day in three different places with wardrobe changes was no easy undertaking, but it was so worth the planning and effort on all parts. Thank you, Coleman family, for having such a cool vision for a real and different kind of family photographs. It’s just the kind of thing I love to do, and you were all amazing.
A special shout out to my friend Eliza for assisting me during this photo session with children, reflectors, and gear. 🙂
These photographs are full of joy. Coleman family, I hope they bring you happy memories of Nashville for many years to come.
All my summer family photo sessions are ending this way now, with popsicles, because they earned it! 🙂
These are great!
Thanks so much, Erin! 🙂
