OK, first – I’m in LOVE with everything about this elegant bridal photo session at Union Station Hotel in Nashville: the dress, the long veil, the golden sunlight, the dramatic lighting and shadows indoors, the flowers, the shoes, the venue itself and, of course, the beautiful bride Kristin was so amazing!!
Kristin and Nick were married at Nashville Union Station Hotel on December 3, but Kristin had this separate bridal photo session before that. It gave her a chance to try out her hair and makeup, and it also gave her some time to move around in her gown. Based on her time at the photo shoot, she ended up making some moderations to the dress before the wedding to allow her to move more comfortably.
One of the best things about this bridal session is that we were able to go outdoors and indoors for some variety. I love the look of both – the golden sunlight, and also the shadowy, dramatic indoor lighting created by the large window and my own lighting (softbox and speedlight on a light stand). Kristin brought along her mom to help, and she also brought music – and they both had some drinks from the bar to make it a celebratory, fun afternoon.
Take a look through these photos from our beautiful session!! I’m so glad we did this, and Kristin, you are stunning!!
