One night on a beach last summer, Brad asked Jennifer to be his wife. And he made sure to involve Jennifer’s 5-year-old son, Turner.

Brad waited until they were crab hunting at night near the surf – one of Turner’s favorite activities – and, with Turner’s help, he asked Jennifer to marry him.

Later this month, Jennifer, Turner and Brad will officially become a family of three – but, as you can see from the photos below, they already are.

Turner had a great time playing with Jennifer and Brad – and I think you can tell the grownups had fun, too! That’s what my photo sessions are all about – connecting with each other while I document the moments. A little bit of posing to get things going, but mostly not.
