This is my absolutely gorgeous friend Riya wearing traditional Indian dress.

Our impromptu portrait session happened when Riya and her husband (two of the best people you will ever meet, hands down) came over for dinner last weekend while visiting Nashville from their new home in Bethesda, Maryland. They came straight from a holiday celebration at their temple, and Riya just looked so amazing, I HAD to photograph her as part of a personal studio-portrait project I’m working on. This is my favorite image from our quick session.
