A few months ago, I donated a mini family photo session to a raffle benefiting the Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk, which a friend of mine was participating in. I was happy to help, and the Cowan family bought several tickets and won! 🙂

We had their family photo session at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, Tenn., and it was a perfect fall afternoon. I should mention that I taught 5-year-old Annie in my preschool class for several years before I went full-time as a photographer, so I had the extra bonus of hanging out with these great kids (and their mom and dad) who I’ve known for years.
